I started as a Mage, I'm level 11 right now.

I've played the entire game on hard thus far and it hasn't been too bad.
(Had to reload 4 times to beat a pack of Mabari Dogs)
(Had to fight the Sloth Demon 3 times in order to win that one)
(And the wolves! What the heck, but beat them eventually)

But Uldred! WTF!
I've reloaded almost 20 times. I have no health potions, and just 2 lyrium potions, and no bombs/acids etc. so it's a tough battle.

I have myself, Morrigan, Allistar, and Wynne.

So I turned down the difficulty and passed this stage and then turned it back up to hard and now i've just defeated and got Zevran.

My question: after I beat the game, will it give me the credit for playing on hard? Or drop it down because I lowered it for one fight?

Should I go back 3.5 hours and fight Uldred again on hard?

I would assume that it would negate the achievement, Mass Effect was like this...if that's the only playthrough on Hard mode you'll ever do, it'd probably be worth it.

Good question I turned down the Difficulty of few times just to replay a few to see what would happen if I took somone else  but forgot to put it back up a couple of times.  Whats the rule on the difficulty setting?

I know on hard you get more mobs so you get more exp maybe you just have to do the end battle I don't know.

It's too bad the old forums shut down, may have had an answer in there. My only reasoning behind saying it would make you unable to get the hard achievement was Mass Effect, also one of BioWare's, had it explained in the achievement description that you had to play everything but the very beginning through on your difficulty of choice to get it. Just a hunch but they may have done the same. There's still room left for hope though lol.

No - There aren't any Achievements for going the game through any level of difficulty...Only, remotely connected, is the achievements for the maincharacter not dying at all. But thats all. I completed the game with Hard all the way through, and was abit dissapointed on that. Then again, its fun to have some challenge in the fights.
