I've done two playthroughs with Warrior and Mage Hawke... and missed out on Charade. -_-;

Now I just feel bad. I wanted to do a complete jerk playthrough in my Rogue one with giving Fenris away to Danarius, making Isabela redeem herself to the Arishok, letting Anders go before killing him in combat, and letting Meredith kill Bethany.

It all would have been so perfect... but no, now that I know Charade exists, it means I have to demand the stupid trinket from her. Image IPB

Charade is pretty cool.  It is strange that you missed the qust before, it is not a minor one.  :)

Just reload the playthrough somewhere halfway through Act 3 and go do it =P

I did exactly the same thing. I only found out about the quest after completing my second playthrough and then only because of random comments relating to the story here on the forums. I'm on my third playthrough now and will be sure to do it this time.

Out of curiosity, what's your motivation in having your Hawke be a total jerkface? An RP reasoning or just wanting to see everyone hate him/her? I just find myself wondering as that's not a natural playstyle for me. My Hawkes always have friends and rivals amongst the group and there are some things I just can't bring myself to do, like hand over Fenris or tranquil Feynriel.

I've done it. It's not really that fun. Sure you hear some new bits of dialog but most people ignore that you handed over Isabella. No one even mentions Fenris after you hand him over. The only real consequence is the last few battles become harder. In my jerk-hawke run I lost Isabella, Fenris, Anders, Sebastian, and Bethany which all it seemed to do was make Meredith and Orsino last a few minutes longer.
Selling out Fenryiel to Topor though is easy, and actually interesting if you have Anders with you.

Topor takes Fenryiel? How? He said I shattered the kid's mind and that the kid was useless to him after I beat the two other demons.

And just for RPing purposes. In my third playthroughs I basically just want to be a bastard with a polite tone of voice and kind smile. My RPing formula is basically: 1st playthrough - do what I want, 2nd playthrough - do the other choices, third playthrough - ruin everybody's life just to see how it pans out in the sequel games.

Admittedly, I happen to ruin a lot of lives in my first playthrough of Origins. I ended-up missing Leliana, killing Wynne, and in Awakening I killed Nathaniel and got rid of Velanna since I didn't care for them.

Oddly enough, I ended-up screwing over Alistair in all 3 of my playthroughs in some way or another...

I missed Charade in my first three playthroughs. I never cared much for Gamlen, so I couldn't care less to visit him to pick up the quest.

You have to choose the right choices to get the kid to realize that the demons are demons on his own, or else Torpor will say the kid's useless.
