Hey everyone I have been CRPGing since about 91' when I first discovered Ultima 6 on my 486sx 33mhz IBM clone, and of course I was there during the big heyday of Infinity Engine RPGs, so I feel like my words carry a small fraction of weight when it comes to the RPG genre.  I just want to congratulate Bioware for making Dragon Age.  They can pat themselves on the back in my book .

I wasn't hyped or looking forward to this game at all really, figured it would be more dumbed down crap that developers have been pushing out since gaming has really gone mainstream, not to mention the absolutely horrible ad campaign for this title!    I am sure glad I was wrong, and now I am a big fan of DA and am highly anticipating DA:O 2 and a slew of dlc (hopefully a major full fleshed expansion too) for this first installment.  Good Job Bioware, you guys nailed this one pretty good, and I'm glad there are still developers out there that remember their roots and what made them big in the first place. 

I had the complete opposite experience with this game then I did with Oblivion.  I was hyped for that game bigtime coming from the Morrowind, and wow a game has never let me down soo much, and soo quickly.  You guys on the other hand delivered a game that finally can start comparing to the masterpiece that was Baldur's Gate 2  So thanks for catering to us old rpg vets, you renewed my faith in the genre.  Keep up the good work guys.
