I've heard that they are still confirming the patch for Mac, it will be delayed for some times. Patience, folks.
Patience isn't anymore a word that means anything, at least in video gaming. Without any date that's a rude answer. But if there's problem with the Mac version, it's better they check it well than release something wrong.
Ha well I could switch to win side and install all the stuff, too bad DA2 was so well done for Mac.

All of us know that the patch for Mac has to be done by the work of the Transgaming team. The patch of PC is ready, but it must have some times for the Mac team can convert it to Mac. So I feel no problem if we have to wait for a few more days.
The only reason I'm bothered is that the last patch came out for PC and Mac simultaneously, and this time A: it hasn't and B: there's been zero communication about why or what timing to expect. I'm not entirely surprised since the release of this patch has been very oddly staggered across platforms, but some ackowledgment of when it's coming or at least that it's still in progress would have been nice.

And I WOULD use Boot Camp, except that my DA2 graphics are crap for whatever reason under Windows (yes, I have updated drivers) but are fine on OSX on the same computer. Sigh...,,
Did you update to the CORRECT drivers? For example, Apple claims that my iMac has a Radeon 5750 (and supplies a bogus driver in the Boot Camp Utility), but in reality it's a Mobility 5850.
I had the same exact issue as you, only to find out that the drivers I thought were up-to-date from Apple were in fact not only the WRONG drivers, but they were nearly a year old. Now I'm able to run DA2 in DX11 with the high-res texture patch on High with VERY responsive framerates. For some reason, Very High ruins the game on the 5850 1GB.
Transgaming or not, unless Lion really performs at WWDC in terms of video drivers, BootCamp is going to be the only way to go moving forward. There's a LOT of holding out hope for Lion right now, given that the newest iMacs have fairly strong (2GB) video cards (which really doesn't do a whole lot for iPhoto / Photoshop / InDesign), but the fact still stands that DX11 leaves OpenGL in the dust at the moment.Transgaming needs to learn to keep up with things, otherwise we'll just use boot camp and they'll lose what little market they have.
As far as I know, Transgaming's core tech relies on DX9, when DX11 is the new standard. Case in point right there.
