What would you do? Me, well I would probably have Commander sacrifice his life for that.

What would I sacrifice to stop the Reapers? Everyone and everything if necessary.

Life would grow again, and this time it would finally get the chance to keep growing.

If any of us were truly selfless people with little concern with the people around us we would sacrifice everything we and everyone else has if only to prevent the Reapers from harvesting what ever comes after Humanity.

Of course it doesn't work that way. Might as well go out with a bang though.

Earth. Overpopulated, porverty, pollution, and still divided between nation-states.

Terraform Mars, and make it the new human homeworld with the Alliance as the new government over all of humanity.

The majority of every race while still leaving enough for a viable gene pool.

The hierarchy is as follows (first to last)

Asari
Hanar
Elcor
Volus
Drell
Quarians
Krogan
Turians
Salarians
Humans

I think that's it

You humans are all racist.

If I am forced to sacrifice any civilizations the first to go will be the Batarians, then the Quarians even though I like the Quarians but it becomes a numbers game at that point and since there are only 17 million Quarians, that would be less deaths than if I were to sacrifice someone like the Turians who probably number into the billiions.

I like KotorEffects idea. It's tactical, might be a little ruthless, but it works.

Even if every advanced species in the galaxy dies, if the Reapers are destroyed, we've won. I actually like the idea of the game ending with too few people left to maintain viable populations. Our society goes through a slow death, but afterwards, millions of years down the road, life will emerge and advance. They'll never know what we did for them, but it won't matter. They will have a chance that no life has had before them. It's more bitter than sweet, and I doubt Bioware will go there, but I think there would be some beauty in that ending.

Let them have the, oh, so special race.

Since its going to be a galactic wide war going on I see every race making great sacrifices to defeat the reapers. As long as the reapers are defeated and the cycle ends then organic and non organic(geth) wins because they will finally stop the endless cycle of genocide.

The galaxy will have a common enemy that gives no quarter and takes no prisoners and does not care if those they are killing are soldiers or civilians. Every race is going to have to pay the butcher's bill to defeat the reapers. "maybe we'll lose half the galaxy maybe more, but I'll do whatever it takes to end the Reaper threat"- this is one of the things that Shepard can say at the end of arrival.

If only 10% of the galaxy is left alive after the Reaper War and the reapers are defeated then so be it, no other race(s) that were harvested have defeated the reapers and that is what the galactic races of this Harvesting must do, what no one else has done before.

I would evacuate as much as possible and then destroy the Charon Relay and trap the Reapers in Earth's system, giving the rest of the galaxy more time to prepare for when the Reapers figure out how to get out.

I'd sacrifice the Asari to destroy the Reapers. Hell, I'd sacrifice the Asari for a piece of toast...... with cinnamon on it of course.

Only if I am forced to start sacrificing civilizations though that is what I have at the top of my list.  And honestly humanity might have to be number 3 if the largest chunk of the reaper fleet is concentrated on earth then taking out all of those reapers would be a priority that might mean destroying our own solar system.

Whatever it takes, down to every last individual, all of the aliens and then humanity if necessary. Even if we're wiped out, perhaps we'll take the bastards with us.

Quarians. If any specie has to take death in the face its going to be them if they won't make nice.

For too long has the tape worm of the galaxy been floating around doing nothing they shall be absolved of their inaction through noble sacrifice.

It would be a tough sacrifice, but the toast must live.
