What sacrifices would you make to destroy the Reapers?

EDI may very well turn out to be the 'reaper' on our side though
Perhaps nazara has had a change of heart but then again what if she starts to remember?

Elias Kelham.
The Turian Councilor.
Harkin.
Rear Admiral Mikhailovich.
Yeah. That's about it. A list of people I wish Shepard could have killed.
Not enough? Take all the Batarians then. Whatever.

I would sacrifice humanity in a heartbeat if I had to. The Reaper threat is bigger than humanity, and even if it turns out to be impossible that humanity survive, if it puts an end to the Cycle, that alone is victory enough. It's a larger victory than any thought possible, and if it turns out to be humanity's fate to follow the Protheans into a kind of victorious oblivion, than so be it.

The key words there were 'if I had to.'
If the choice is sacrifice humanity and stop the Reapers, or don't sacrifice humanity and humanity is eliminated by the Reapers in addition to everyone else how is the sacrifice traitorous?
Either way, humanity dies.

If the only way to avoid a nuclear holocaust that would render the Earth uninhabitable and spell apocalypse for humanity was to commit high treason and spell doom for America instead, I'd commit high treason and spell doom for America. At least then a nuclear holocaust would be averted. Loyalty to one's own people is all well and good, but if it gets everyone--including one's own people--killed anyway, then it's not honor... it's stupidity.

this has nothing to do with the topic and doesn't back up your point at all, it was just you taking a shot at Americans

Fairly certain what he was saying was a metaphor, saying that loyalty to one's people to the point of which you would sacrifice them, and everyone else as opposed to just them is foolhardy.
In fact his last line says exactly that

I am an American, you goof. Also, I'm in the process of enlisting in the Army Reserve. It's called an analogy. If I was faced with the choice between "Save the world and doom America" or "not save the world and still doom America," that's kind of an obvious choice.
Translate that into ME terms: "Save the galaxy and doom humanity" or "not save the galaxy and still doom humanity." I'm not going to shirk on the necessary sacrifice just because I'm sacrificing what I care about this time around.
