Even if every advanced species in the galaxy dies, if the Reapers are destroyed, we've won. I actually like the idea of the game ending with too few people left to maintain viable populations. Our society goes through a slow death, but afterwards, millions of years down the road, life will emerge and advance. They'll never know what we did for them, but it won't matter. They will have a chance that no life has had before them. It's more bitter than sweet, and I doubt Bioware will go there, but I think there would be some beauty in that ending.

goddamn epic!!! a bit of "2001: the year we made contact" but to bad bioware don't have the guts to make it a possible ending ...but i think that is the best ending ME  deservers ('till now) based on the fact that  killing a race  who existed  for billions and billions of years and wiped billions of civilisations calls for a huge sacrifice if not all

I think paragons and renegades are going to find themselves in a mess. My Commander Shepard was a full on paragon. He charmed his way to kill Saren(got him to do suicide) and had the option to kill Samara or Morinth(picked Samara of coarse) so I'm starting to wonder if somethings are gonna bite me in the ass for being to soft.
