Well I have bad news, I wondered the exact same thing: "What about the Ultimate/Uber Collector's Edition?"

I asked Manveer Heir (Designer) through Twitter:

- Me: "I would like to know if an Uber Collector's Edition is going to be released. If you reply would appreaciate it deeply! "

- Manveer: "that version isn't uber enough?"

- Me: "haha Die Hards simply gotta' have the best of the best. I asked because @RayMuzyka teased an "Ultimate Edition" a while ago."

- Manveer: "I think it's the same thing we're talking about just different name. If anything more is planned I know nothing about it"

- Me: "Got it!Thanks a lot 4 the info and 4 the wonderful job You and the Team have done so far on #MassEffect 3 .Pre-ordering CE Now!"

So there you go for now the recently announced CE is the best Edition available, kind of a bummer as many of Us were expecting a really awesome Edition priced at about $150.

That's a pretty weak uber-edition! What happened to all that talk with Chris Priestly about an edition something akin to the Modern Warfare 2 night-vision goggles one? Y'know... where we were specifically asked to suggest a really cool item along similar lines.

Instead we just get something only slightly better than the ME2 one, along with some weak gun reskins and without even a "making of" bonus DVD.

I think they're waiting for everyone to buy the game, then they'll release one final amazing trilogy edition to catch everyone with their pants down to collect their final revenue of the franchise until they announce their Mass Effect MMO that they seem excited about as an idea.
