I've found a pretty nasty bug with the sunder talent. The game seems to be randomly removing the +10% critical chance on game load and then not reapplying it. I end up with a character that is bleeding critical chance % to the point I actually get a negative critical chance score.
Nothing says irony like a patch that adds a new bug. Same thing happened a few months ago with a ME2 patch.

incredibly, but i'm getting to the point where i don't even care. my interest in the game was already declining before the patch, and it killed any desire i had to play the game for myself. i am running solely on the support of my dear fans, even moreso than before. it's the only thing that keeps me going.
i love you, ryzaki, and all of you who enjoy the things i put out. i've had a blast entertaining and helping you guys for these months since the game came out.
somebody buy me dungeon siege 3

Ouch. Well I support you. So make some more kickass guides.
D:
Personally I'm waiting for Skyrim. Alas ME3 is not coming out for 9 months.

I kept encountering two really annoying glitches:
- either my characters would run on the spot for a few seconds
- or the cone of cold targeting would be locked in place.
I suppose it doesn't have too big an impact on general gameplay, but for speed runs it completely messes up that run and forces you to reload one out of every two or three attempts...
I'm also wondering if it would be possible for a toggle to remove the automatic pause while targeting aoe abilities for xbox. I think I recall that it doesn't happen for pc and I'd rather have a few seconds standing around vulnerable than stopping my companions from doing their thing.
Anyhow, DW is a lot more fun than I remember and with the changes from this patch I've thought up a new party setup to run around with. Not sure how well it'll work and it probably won't hold up in a speed run but it should allow me to hear some new party banter for a change.
I think i'll leave my new mage playthrough alone (played mage way too many times) and continue with my DW. Are there any rules for those other speed runs? (e.g. max levels or should I just do them whenever I feel like?)

Both of those glitches have occured on pc since day one of release. The first one is negated by hitting run forward "before" you finnish the cut scene. The later is random and is to do with the cursor disappearing. Not sure why Xbox gets it now tho as you guys don't have a cursor.

I was going to have DW hawke, isabela, fenris and anders and basically make fenris an auto-attacking crit-machine and exploit lacerate.
I sort of need sunder for that though so looks like I won't be using fenris (not that I mind, even though he wouldn't be causing ff he still would be a douche haha).
And yeah I'm somewhat over warriors after they nerfed blood frenzy. There's no fun in playing anything but a glass-cannon and that ability made reavers the best glass-cannons. Ah well, it was good while it lasted.
and yeah I think those bugs have been around for quite a while on xbox. They just didn't happen quite as often for me.. I was just venting some of the rage at having to reload a ridiculous number of times because my character decided to run on the spot

Last night I finished secret rendezvous with my sns warrior, I basically now have this strategy, run into the fray with 95% fire resist warrior hawke, have bethany, anders and merril cast firestorm on top of me and all the enemies and basically attack anyone trying to leave the storm. Everyone dies including lieutenants and assassins, and they are constantly CC'd by the storm. I feel bad yes.

All the fights untill now (mid chapter 2) are fairly easier, specially the bosses. Their force is negligible except the special attacks. Not even dodging them anymore, heh.

There were times when I thought a game was fine but save and come back later and the BUG is now there.

the patch is so-so. I wished they had given the ability to break the damn animation moves. That is the only thing that I wanted, everything else was fine, even with the FF on nightmare. Don't get me wrong, the finishing animations are nice, but if I need to move or react, I want to be able to break it and not wait until its done. Oh yeah, one thing I did notice with the patch which is kinda silly, something about if you get stunned/interrupted the action that was beind executed will resume. Okay, a few times an assassin was hitting my mage and knocking him back, and when the mage recovered it kept trying to complete the move/action,..there preventing me from moving away to a distance. Now that is a stupid tactical error. Maybe it's just me...but they should have left things alone for the most part.
Just sayin'...
There are finishing animations with the new patch?

It seems patch 1.02 main purpose was to screw over 2-handed warriors
2 handed warriors are forced to keep pummel strike, ignore Sunder, and/or rely on claymore for staggers to avoid the Sunder bug

I have to keep using the save game editor. This...is utter fail.
Looks like I'm gonna be stuck with rogues until the next patch.

People aren't staggering backwards anywhere near as much? (I didn't mind that, because it was appropriately punishing, IMO.)

It does make them more compatible with other melee'ers on Nightmare since their auto-attack doesn't do FF anymore.

Currently the feature we implemented to do the retro-fix on stat bugs is having an inverse effect on Sunder. Without going in to great length about the details, you can still take Sunder - if you happen to use maker's sigh while you have Sunder a simple save/load will set you back to even. Unfortunately the same failsafe will also keep stripping the +10%crit from you after you take it but rest assured that it will not go below -10 AND a save/load will set it back to 0.
