It was for my next playthrough as im running out of ideas, was going to try templar/zerker as iv yet to try that combo,
The game im on now is a shadow archer working out whether aveline can take over from varric in the dream team anders + merrill.

I mean, you could use her if you really really wanted to, it wouldn't be that bad, but from an 'optimal party' perspective, I wouldn't.
Plus, since you're playing Archer, you wouldn't be able to take advantage of her Shield Bash with Lacerate.

Did warriors always restore stamina per kill, I don't remember having as much stamina regen as this, maybe I'm remembering wrong or something in the patch?

Yep. That's how warriors have always got their stamina.
Maybe it's because you're specced into berserker and have deathblow?
Paired with massacre or a high dps that makes a considerable difference to stamina regen.

Solo nuker crit templar, but I guess its the mass kills that's restoring so much stamina.
Iv never noticed this till now, so much for saying attention

Also using your crit mage idea for a mainly strength and some dex to get crit chance above/to 50% with gear.
Soloing consists of drawing everyone in then unloading unloading scatter, assault, holy smite rinse and repeat which is working pretty well but I have no real comparison as its my first solo try.

haha yeah, I used a crit-reaver with that same gear setup.
it really helps to get some runes of striking in your weapons (if you haven't already).
I haven't really used a templar build before, I may try it out if I can get motivated.
Here's an example of my S&S reaver before the patch killed it:

Did they change the attack or movement speeds? I was getting impatient with the run speed today.

It's nice to see less goop explosions.

I kind of miss the goop explosions. It brought back fond giggley memories of Lego Star Wars.

that reminded me of Lego Island and Lego Island 2.
Those were great games.

Im only mad that 2h warriors got **** on in the patch. maybe next when they patch bioware should just fix problems and quit drastically nerfing ****. And then people say certain things are overpowered or cheap and should be nerfed...SO WHAT!!! If it's really that morally comprimising (cant spell) just don't use. When I play RPGs, I like my characters to be ungodly powerful and be the ultimate badass.
