After searching google for any advice on a similar problem and not finding anything, I decided to actually ask for help.

When I start up Dragon Age 2 from steam, it starts up the DA2 Launcher, but the play button on the launcher is grayed out.  The Ad bar at the bottom says that I need an update, but I am running v1.03.  Looking under the config, I found that my launcher is running v1.01, but I'm not sure that isn't the most recent update.  Also under the config, I tried adding a firewall exception, but it stated that the config simply couldn't locate the file.  This is probably caused by me running DA2 via steam, but should it really disallow me from playing the game entirely?

So, I guess I'm asking for help fixing my DA2 launcher so that I can play again.  Any suggestions?
