So we've seen what happens when we try to import all choices into another game: the repercussions of the choices become off hand dialogue or a small side quest, the world doesn't change, the story lines keep going on the one track no matter what.
This leaves a lot of people feeling pretty cheated.
But how would the fan base feel about future games that explored the consequences of one outcome of a big decision? Bioware has shown they really really don't want to/aren't able to make single games with large branching story lines, which seems to be what people want, myself included.
So what if we had one game where the plot/story was tied up with Morrigan's Old God Baby, which just assumed the ritual occurred, or you could only import a save where the ritual happened? Or we had one game that explored wtf happened to the new Dalish land you can ask for as a boon as a Dalish Warden? Or any of the other possible boons? That hinged on who ended up as monarch in Fereldan? Or a game taking place in Orzammar that explores what happened with Bhelen/Harrowmont?
These wouldn't be 'cannon' choices, just exploring the 'what if's, making sure to reassure players that this doesn't invalidate their choices, this is just one part of a split timeline, so it can be explored in full without worrying about keeping results so interchangeable as to make them invisible.
Would people be up for this? Or would you be uninterested?
