That's just ridiculous. Whatever you think of Biowares most recent errors, any list of THREE HUNDRED developers that fails to even include Bioware hasn't managed to do anything but completely shoot down their own credibility.

Sorry if this is off topic but I couldn't get past this line.  Now I like Mass Effect 2, but I don't know if I would go this far.

On topic though it may be a sign of their brand name as a whole losing value.  They really need to start acting like Bioware the "mom and pop store" again and not Bioware the " national chain store"

I agree on your quote from the article. I like ME 2, but I'm not sure it perfected the wesern RPG model by a long shot, especially since a few of the already sparse RPG elements in ME 1 were hacked out in the sequel.

I'm not sure this list of the 100 top developers should hurt anyone's feelings but it did suprise me Bioware's success with some of their earlier games didn't put them on that list.

You honestly think that a developer who does an abysmal job of fixing bugs, abandons their original fanbase, dumbs down their games in a deliberate attempt to attract the 'Call of Duty' crowd, shoehorns romantic relationships into games which have no need of them, spends more money on marketing their games than developing them, has people who go onto review sites and GIVE THEIR OWN GAMES 10/10 reviews, and bans anyone who doesn't like them, their games or the business decisions they make would be one of the top 100 developers?

They would be one of the top 20 3 or 4 years ago, but most certainly not now.

Now watch as this comment gets deleted and my account gets banned because Bioware don't like it when people point out their numerous flaws.

It's an unfair list, flawed as well.
But I certainly cannot defend DAO'S DLC. It was truly awful. I liked some stuff here and there, but the general picture was ugly. I'd say Golems and Witch Hunt are the worst of the list. "All your questions will be answered, there'll be closure, wait and play it before you say anything, blahblah", I know the marketing department is something apart, but you know, it's never nice when the devs lie to you.
And I know, oh, I know what someone will say, "Bioware doesn't force you to play the DLC", "You chose to give them your money", well yeah, I did. Because I trusted in their quality, but alas, I learned the lesson.
And then Dragon Age 2 came along...while it's cool that there are people who like it despite its many flaws, DA2 is a hellish mess. Not to say that the other devs are perfect: Capcom and its on-disc DLC, Sega and its lack of respect to customers, Nintendo and their love to release the same game over and over again (plus a lot of gadgets that will be collecting dust in less than a week)...

Anyway, they didn't deserve to be snubbed, but I would never put them on a top 10. Why am I still on the forum, or discussing their games? Because Bioware stole my heart with ME and Origins, I even liked ME2, but my faith was kinda damaged after the DAO DLC and DA2.

What the hell? I said GTA IV sucks not RDR calm down. Have you played GTA 4 on PC? If you haven't don't talk. I OWN RDR on a 360. I prefer GTA on PC because of mods. Maybe you should laugh at yourself your just making assumptions. L.A Noire is a great game but after beating it there is no need for me to play it again.

LOL you keep missing the point and I keep getting surprised.
1.  I have GTA 4 on PC and PS3 and despite its shoddy port job I prefer it on PC
2.  Using excuses like "they don't make their recent games on PC so therefore they must hate us"  to hate a company is silly I explained that I bought a console so I can keep playing their games.  You don't see me crying that they didn't port it.  (not like it matters most of you PC fanboys would cry that they bothered at all.)
