My introduction to Mass Effect started with the very first novel Mass Effect Revelation which was released 3-4 months before ME1. I Remember visiting the book store looking for a specific star wars book but unfortunately was not in stock so I opted for an alternative sci fi adventure which was Mass Effect Revelation. I enjoyed the book so much it convinced me to get the game. I've been a fan ever since.
That's intresting, I've never heard of someone who actually read the books before playing the game.

There are only so many times you can describe a Volus as "rotund" or a batarien's eyes as "orbs" before you begin to think that the storyteller would be better off sticking to images rather than words.

Next thing I know, I collect lithographs, own both collectors editions and all of the soundtracks.
