I don't hate any characters just for the sake of hating them, though there are certainly some I like alot less than others.

I found Thane and Jack to be quite bland but I'm not going to shout down their fans or create threads about sacrificing them.

Actually, I for one like Jacob a lot, and never understood why so many people can't stand him... :/
Then again, I never properly understood the sense of hating fictional characters in general, so...
It's my opinion there's enough real hate to bear in the world to force oneself to bear it even in fiction, but whatever, it's just my opinion...

Still, it's funny how you dub Talimancers hypocrites based on a supposition (there may very well be Talimancers who like Jacob, like me for example, you can't know that), while this thread is filled with people who say they'll kill Tali without a second thought but they'll have problems killing other characters and you said nothing to them...

Pardon me if I'm wrong, but that's a bit of a double standard...
Everyone is expendable: Tali, Garrus, Mordin, Legion, etc...
He*l even Shep is expendable if it means saving the galaxy...

The reason you say are called a troll (which is wrong, since I personally don't think you are a troll, just, MAYBE, a "playful" flamer, it's not the same), is because in spite this fact you insist on pointing to just one single character...
If you had considered reading my very first post and making this thread more neutral nobody would attack you (and again I frankly don't see many people attacking you at all), in fact it would probably have been regarded as an interesting view on how emotionally engaging the game is for the forumites...

This I really never understood... Why risking angering the mods for a character you don't like? Had it been a char you like you may say it was worth it, but like this...
I don't know... Maybe I'm just too dumb to properly understand... :/

I love this community and it saddens me seeing people putting themselves in useless risks like these, again maybe nothing will happen but why tempt fate I say...

Now... If Shepard comes back to earth and if there is only very very very small population left of humans. I'd sacrifice them for her.

I'm an Ashley fan, and, yes, I would be willing to sacrifice any cast member, even Ashley to save the galaxy. And I believe, for the sake of drama and "realism," that some beloved cast members should be able to die. However, it better be written in a way that makes sense.

And I, too, am sure the OP is trying to start a fight with the Talimancers.

The only "realistic" way to have such a choice would be some situation where you need a "tech expert" to complete a suicide mission, and the only logical choice is Tali. Theoretically Kasumi or LEGION could suffice, but they might be dead or not available at that stage of the game.

How do the "fans" ruin a character? They didnt change her protrayal in any way, just your opinion. But I get what you mean.

Anyway, I agree with the above poster that some of the beloved characters need to die. In a good drama, you need some heartfelt tragedy.
