Threads like this are designed to incite both sides of Tali's popularity. As shown in your post and many other's, it doesn't take much bait on the hook to get people to bite. The OP knows this very well and is entitled to his opinion and trolling. For those of us that like Tali or any other character, it doesn't change anything.

I would sacrifice Tali so that me and Liara could live happily. If I could sacrifice someone else, say myself, or Jack, I would. Especially Jack, I would do anything to see her die or thrown out an airlock.

If anything I'd say that this thread shows how, in regards of Tali, Haters are even more extreme than Mancers...
I see a lot of people saying they'd sacrifice her for food, you yourself wrote you'd sacrifice her for some fish...
I'd say that's pretty extreme... And that's what I never understood... How can one bring himself to hate a fictional character so much?
I must really be dumb because I don't see any plausible reason...

You said it yourself... All this posts joyfully hoping for a gruesome death for a character of fiction, and even for the stupidest of reasons? Do we really want to go there? The OP at least put the galaxy at stake...

Finally, your last line may be true, but it works both ways... In some cases, seeing to what extremes haters go just to bash Tali (a fictional character) and her fans could actually made poeple like her more... In the end all it will do is exacerbate the situation...

Not to offend anyone, I know there's plenty of people who dislike Tali and are not like that (there's plenty I respect a lot too), but fanatics are always in BOTH groups, and some people seems to forget that more often than is advisable...

Why can't we simply respect each other opinions instead of doing these kind of things?

Some may not given the title is pretty blunt, so for the fourth time I'll advise you to try and change it to something more neutral (or at least make it more clear if you are so self concious about being misunderstood)...
I did what I could to help, I don't like saying the same thing too many times (it gets annoying for other people) so the rest is up to you...

I agree that the Tali haters are pretty extreme compared to most other character dislikers.

I haven't seen anyone else being ready to go so far to accomplish so little.

this thread is flooded with Tali-hate to the most extreme level....I've seen more "I'd kill her for 5 more minutes of sleep" type of responses then "noo shez mah waifu!!1" type posts...

most Talimancers, myself included, would sacrifice her given the stakes...and she would want Shepard to do it, too...what Talimancer wants to live in a ****ed over scrap of a universe living with a very pissed off woman? sorry I'd much rather keep the galaxy intact kthnx...

This is a sad thread

But! To be productive, I'd say that yes. I would sacrafice Tali for billions of lives. Considering Legion can do everything she can do in terms of tech, I'd sacrafice her probably for a lot less. (say Wrex and High-up VIP's are making an escape and you need Tali to hack some door, knowing she is in the path of a thresher maw.) I wouldn't throw a member of Shepard's crew to the wolves for nothing however. She is a valued member, even though I think she is hot-headed and terrible at leadership.

Hell yes! And I wouldn't think twice about it. She's pretty much a waste of space on my Shep's Normandy, I never bring her along for missions, I don't like her particularly much, I am not interested in her stories about the flotilla and whatno and she occasionally has a pretty bad attitude which I am not fond oft. I only keep her around because she's loyal and believes in Shepard and I don't have it in my heart to kill a loyal squaddie off without good reason.

My apologies to the Talimancers, but she's simply not my cup of tea.
To be fair though there are several squaddies I would sacrifice to save the galaxy, Tali isn't the only one.
