I've just bumped into her in Dust Town and when I was done it was easy to tell her to go to the surface.. and I went hmmm.  So I reloaded and looked at the other option where you can get a quest to talk to her family.  I know this is just a minor quest, but does anyone know if choosing one option over the other makes a difference with other quests?

Her quest is self-contained, but it can tie in with at least 1 other quest in Ozamar
