Tired, again. So short form, again. You can see real nudity in a PG-13 movie. But you can't see animated nudity in an M rated game. So I want bioware to show nudity, not just for the sake of showing it but because they need to. Just to show that games can be for adults and not 6 - 11 year olds like the majority of people seem to think. There are plenty of ways for them to do it of course and I think they should do all of them.

Well, the easiest thing to do would be report you. I'm fairly sure BSN has an age requirement, and if your post here displays your real age as below that you could get banned.

I've heard getting banned from BSN has caused problems for people trying to play their registered games.

Personally I don't see why people can get their jiffies in a jam about socalled 'softcore' porn.

It's an artificial term used by people athat are uncomfortable with dealing with the natural state of the human body in natural actions.

As long as they don't go into hardcore things, they could do whatever, really, without me being bothered too much. Maybe it's because I'm 36, but I really can't get why people are so afraid of watching nudity, or people carassing each other.

I'm more worried that it's appearantly taboo to show love but killing other entities (people, aliens, whatever, depending on the game) in gruesome ways is appearantly just fine. It's a sick skewing of priorities caused by a standard of hypocritical morals.

Especially nudity. Some games introduce it as eye candy so obviously that it's awkward.

I wonder how you can tie 'too obvious' or 'eye candy' to the act of consuming love between 2 individuals.

If anything, it is entirely appropriate in those places.

Sure, if your squadmates or enemies start running around in the nude or rub against your leg between missions, there could be some facepalming at the lameness of it, but that's hardly what is being discussed here, now is it?

I am actually referring to a game that had situations where NPC nudity was obviously there for the eye candy. It was extremely cheesy. And yes, this applies to romances too. If the player understands that the sideboob is there just to please him/her, then that's a failure caused by the cinematic designer's misdirection.

Sex scenes with full frontal nudity is just saying "look how well we can draw boobies" and detracts from the scene because it is no longer about the 2 characters but rather about the horny guy playing to see naked aliens.

I know exactly what your saying, people for whatever reason think that the relationship leads up to the sex scene and is only there the validate the scene itself, however I believe that it's quite the opposite. However the problem that I have is that when the sex scene is what validates the realationship, and not the other way around, there is the problem of the sex scene not doing the romance itself justice, by being far too artificial and unbelievable.

However if there is one thing that the sex scenes in mass effect 2 have going for them it's that they do put more emphasis on the romance, which is good, but again, pointless if the player doesn't feel as though the romance itself was worth it.

ME1 was good, and there's never too much side boob, even full frontal is good, unless they're pancake nipples. Once they stat showing vag, I think that would be a little weird.
