You may think I'm posting this as a joke thread but in all honesty, why can't there be a point in Mass Effect that would make Shepard LOL? 

Yes we know the end of the universe is approaching and there won't be much time for laughs in ME3 but atleast have a chuckle from Shepard in ME3... or something.

No one laughs in the game. Ever. Maybe it's a Canadian thing. Maybe it's an animation thing. There are a couple scenes with Garrus where Shep actually cracks a grin, not the creepy leer he's famous for.

I don't feel the need for belly laughs in ME3.

Shepard sort of laughs when you recruit Garrus, there's a few moments where she smiles but they aren't very frequent.

The only time I heard her laugh was picking the renegade option on Thane's LM when you're ontop and the guy asks you what you're doing. "Hey, run it's going to blow!" "Blow..!!?!? oh..alright!" "RUN!" ..."hahahahah I can't believe that worked." Or something along those lines. Pretty funny.

I am hoping Shep smiles more and laughs in ME3....funny things are said around him and while I'm cracking up, I'm thinking Shep is quite the wet blanket really, he takes too many things way too seriously...Here's hoping he lightens up a little in ME3...:-)

shepard thinks things are funny but just doesnt outwardly laugh.

its like watching an episode of Modern Family, you can acknowledge things are funny, but it never actually makes you laugh out loud.

Shepard chuckles on a few occasions.

Though true it's usually not more then a "Ha ha!" I dunno if Shepard should just start ROFLing though in ME3. Might make em' seem a tad crazy. It'd probably be awkward to hear laughter from Meer or Hale anyways. Plus there's the issue thay it's very hard to do a genuine laugh unless you're actually laughing at something funny. It's probably easier to fake tears then it is to fake laughter.

I do agree though, there needs to be more emotion. Whether it'd be laughter, or crying, or anything...Apparently we will see more, but only inbetween missions.

 Shepard never laughs or cries cause it's not cool enough I guess. Neither does Hawke in DA2 for that matter. It annoys me even more in DA2, Hawke sees his family die (depending on how you play, he/she sees ALL of them killed off one by one) and barely even bats an eye.

Jennifer Hale does an even better job with that scene... 

that, and just about every other scene. The only line Mark Meer has her beat at is "Because it's a big stupid jellyfish!"
