Well, Shepard is probably very depressed. I don't think it would be easy to come to grips with your own death and finding out some of your closest friends don't even trust you. He probably wonders about his own reality (Am I even human anymore?). Hell, if i was resurrected I'd think i'd be having a spiritual crisis of some kind.
Depression like that would keep you from laughing much.
I think the only time he/she ever shows any enjoyment is when he's flirting with the LI's.

Okay, back on topic. Shep is too much of a bad ass to be laughing like a fool every where she goes.

I don't know man. Some laughs can be pretty scary. Like if Shepard was laughing while gouging out the eyes of the batarian slaver.

That's the best (as in most enjoyable) renegade action / choice in the whole game... really loved the way Shep reacts to it (femshep version is good too).

Cause shepard doesnt have time for that. Shes too busy killing people. I like her dark sense of humor that they give shepard. It works well with the whole the world is ending sort of thing
