If so how did you rp that?
I think if a male Aeducan warden Had the son with the noble hunter and then Bhelen accepted it into his house the kid wouldn't live long.

My Princess Aeducan had no problems at all putting her snake of a brother on the throne. She wanted troops to fight the blight -- that was her only concern. She saw first hand how ineffective Harrowmont was with the assembly; even with laws and traditions on her side, Harrowmont was not even able to get her a trial and she was the most popular of the Aeducans. How would Harrowmont get her troops?

Also, family is very important to the dwarves. She may be exiled and stricken from the records, but she still wanted her (former) house to stay in power.

I think it depends quite a bit on how you went through the origins story as well, on how it would be roleplayed. My first dwarf, a male, was every bit the scoundrel Bhelen was, and respected him for the clever way he advanced himself to the throne.
My next dwarf, the one I actually finished it with, sided against him, but had I gotten my first on to that point he certainly would have put his brother on the throne, even if just to give himself a better chance of reclaiming it later on.

I played a male dwarf noble and sided with Bhelen because I wanted my son to become an Aeducan :P IT played out pretty well, and at the end of the game once the blight is ended in the post coronation Gorim let's you know that himself and you have been allowed back into the Aeducan caste, so win-win :P

Yes, same as ejoslin and Rokky (my character was a male who had a son). My Aeducan actually respected Bhelen for his power play.

I found it easier to justify my DN putting Bhelen on the throne than other characters, since they have some reason to regard Bhelen as competent, and a natural loyalty to House Aeducan.

yes but we know Bhelen kills people who get in his way so his brothers child would probaly meet with a tragic end.

But at the point where he could help the child, he is already King, and the Assembly certaily isn't going to replace Bhelen with an infant. Plus, Bhelen could probably do something with the child who is next in line for his throne until he has a child, after his own child.

The child won't always be an infant.

In the time it will take for the child to be a threat, Bhelen, if he's half as smart as the Pro-Bhelen people assume, he should be able to do something with him, perhaps even use him to secure power in case anything in the future goes wrong.

No... In all my playthroughs I chose to appearently doom Orzammar by killing Bhelen. Often I did it myself.
Only with my Dwarf commoner did I choose Bhelen due to my sister liking him.

I did the same thing as Rvlion. My Dwarf Noble took GREAT pleasure in giving Bhelen his just desserts. Besides, I wouldn't rule out the possibility that Bhelen had Endrin poisoned as well... After everything he did to secure his position as heir to the throne, I highly doubt that Bhelen would be patient enough to wait for his father to die of natural causes.

For my Dwarf Commoner, I chose Bhelen, since Rica's obviously in love with him, and I just couldn't bear to break her heart. :( Besides, I AM my nephew's uncle, after all... That gives me a leg-up into dwarven nobility. And since my Commoner is also a highly skilled Assassin (courtesy of Zevran's instructions), if Bhelen goes too far or mistreats Rica... Well, perhaps the tragedy of early deaths has not yet finished with the Aeducan bloodline, yes? *wicked grin*
