 I tried reading through some of the other forums on here. Still not sure if i can play on my laptop? Im going to assume i can't, because everytime i hit run, it runs a black screen, closes, and says that it just stopped working. 

"A problem caused the program to stop working correctly. Windows will close the program and notify you if a solution is available."

Is there anything i can really do to get past that and maybe play? i have re-downloaded it twice. Knowing my luck, my laptop just won't let me play it. Any help is greatly appreciated.

1) Please register the game on the forums. This is not an accusation, but given the spate of users with illegally downloaded copies coming to the forums asking for help, forum registration is the only way we can be sure we are dealing with a legit copy. Illegally downloaded copies include hacked and modified files which could be either corrupt, or full of malware. Once its registered, we will be happy to help. Forums Registration here;

Okay, just went and did that.
Im going to say, its probably my laptop knowing anything.
1.The game won't start. I click play, it says it stopped working correctly.
I just bought this game tonight..
Does intel just basically, stop the game from working all together?

If by this do you mean intel graphics? If so, then yes. You need a real video card made by either ATI or Nvidia to run the game. If you do have one of those in your laptop, then yuo will need to post the rest of your system specs so we can find out where the problem is.
When you fire up the launcher, click "Configure" and tell us everything taht appears under the "System" Tab, and also what the file versions are under the "Game" tab. Do NOT give us your product key, we dont need it in this thread.

Intel® Celeron® CPU. So im going to assume then i can't use this laptop for it. Would that be my only problem?

If its a Celeron CPU, then yeah, its way too underpowered for the game, and I dare say the graphics chipset wouldnt be able to cope with the demand either.
If you can copy/paste everything from the "Game" section in the config utility into this thread, I will be able to tell you for sure.

The game section? As in all the version information? o.o Sorry, im a tad lost, not used to doing stuff like this

Version information should be :
MassEffect2.exe : v1.02
MassEffect2Launcher.exe : v1.01
MassEffect2Config.exe : v1.03
UninstallMassEffect2.exe v1.03
If it doesnt match the versions I have listed, you need to patch the game. Patches available here.

If the versions do match up, them we will need the system summary details of your machine.
