Anyone else want to slap Ash/Kaidan in the face in ME2?

Anyway. I can excuse the VS a bit because Horizon was a clear plot device. Kaidan didn't seem to be acting in character, IMO.
Also, Cerberus is a scary terrorist organization. Shepard or no, Cerberus has done some quite heinous things. I don't fault them for not getting up and leaving their Alliance career they've been nurturing.
Edit: Fixed bad typos

As for Ash...I already nuked her from orbit, the slap to the face is overkill at this point.

I can see how they'd not be jumping for joy at Shepard working with Cerberus, but that group is large-scale, has good sources of intel as well as a mass amount of resources that come in handy, and the Alliance isn't doing anything at this point in time. Shepard wouldn't even be alive, and the threat to the galaxy would be brushed off as merely a rumor had he not been revived then investigating the missing colonies. Terrorist or no in the past, it just seems like logically a good choice to use them for the time being.

Kaidan, we'd punch each other in the face and we'll laugh about it the next day cuz thats how real men deal with their feelings.

Frankly, I'm prepared to let the past be the past and work together for a better future (and a romantic one at that), not whine and b*tch and moan and slap around and whinge and complain like a spoiled entitled child because she happened to not bow down before me like a king on Horizon. In fact her passion and tendancy to disagree and challenge is part of what made her attractive in the first place.
The Reapers are coming, the whole galaxy is in danger of being wiped out and you need every ally and resource you can get. The VS is now a Spectre and as such would be an invaluable assistance against the many hardships ahead. I think that should take precedence over angry yelling and grumpiness over something petty in the past.
Bigger things are happening here, can we please let our damaged ego's take a backseat? I mean if nothing else, it would be a pretty crappy reason for the Reapers to win, because you were too busy yelling and alienating allies to actually try to stop them.

1) Kaidan is dead in all my playthroughs.
2) Errol Shepard doesn't hit women.*
*Unless they are mercenaries - those get shot in the face.
