I Know It's Going to be a Great Game, but...

Ok, to understand my question better, I think you should all realize first that I have loved most (If not all) of Bioware's games. I've played Baldur's gate for the first time when I was 6, and couldn't quit since. I've played through Mass Effect 6 or 7 times, the list goes on. That said, there's one area of the game in which I am SEVERELY disappointed. Graphics? No, I think the graphics are quite good actually, they fit the game's setting and style. Animation? No, I think the animation is better than most games. The issue of which I'm speaking is the total lack of the game's ability to feed me while I'm playing it so I won't need to interrupt my gameplay to drudgingly walk the full 30 feet to the fridge, open it up, decide what I want, and eat it. I mean, damn, that's a lot of work. Not to mention that some food actually required preparation. I mean, jesus, why even bother at that point? Bioware, I'm very disappointed in you. You've never dropped the ball like this before. For shame.

What you should do is get one of those beer hat things. Place a can of soup in one cupholder and then stick a beverage of your choice in the other.

Actually they are offering a complementary mini-fridge that hooks into your computer's power supply (if it meets the minimum specifications of at least 2,500 watts) with the Extremely Limited Collector's Edition Mega Pack for only $499.00. They are not making this offer public because there are so few of the ELCEMP's available for purchase - basically it's only for people involved in the game development process and their personal friends and family. BUT if you call in and ask them about it specifically they will sell you one.
As for moving the mini-fridge from your front door to your computer and stocking it with tasty groceries, I advise getting a girlfriend who will cater to your every whim. It's the next best thing out there since they abolished slavery.

Tip o' the hat, sport. That was very subtle.

This is easy, move the computer next to the fridge, or set up a cooler with food and drink pre-loaded!!

Or move both the computer AND the fridge right in front of your toilet.

That's why I had a kid. Now I can just say, "Hey go get me a sandwich and a soda!" No getting up involved on my part.

This is why I let my sister's kids over, I get to to do the same thing and then they leave at the end of the day :innocent:

You need Dragon Age:Origins Butler Edition. Comes with your own Jeeves, who will cater to your culinary needs while playing.

Not sure if it was real, or just a joke.. but a cool idea, none the less.
Supposedly, in Everquest II, you could type /pizza while in the game to order a real pizza delivered to your house.

DA is a great game. Much better than ME2. It would be even better with a couple of minor improvements. 1. Auto loot. 2. Allow use of party skills in camp, i.e. rune making. I have a character with run making level 4, but can only use his skill when he is in a party. It would save considerable time if I could use his skill when inside the Vigil. 3. A better inventory management technique. See Titan Quest. Having to abandon a dungeon to sell off goods or destroy goods to pick up better ones is a wasteful inelegant solution that adds nothing to the game.

One does have to wonder at the thought processes involved in dredging up an eight month old thread and then making a reply that has absolutely nothing to do with the threads discussion point...

What you need is a decent chair w/fridge, heated massage, and lumbar support. With that, and a set of Depends, you are set for the wknd....
