First off, I'd like to say that I *did* try the official support on EA's website and...well, it didn't help. The 'live chat' help made me feel

-System specs-

Processor: Intel® Core™2 Quad CPU    Q6600  @ 2.40GHz

Display Adapter: ATI Radeon HD 4800 Series

Physical Memory: 7.99 GB   VRAM: 1GB

OS: Microsoft Windows 7 Home Premium   Directx Version: DirectX 10.0  (Mar2009) or later

-Game info-

Version: v1.02

Installation type: Digital Download from EA (Pre-ordered DA2 and got ME2 as a freebie)

-Issue-

When I start a new game, or load one, I can't move using WSAD and when I *do* use those keys they use my abilities like I'm hitting 1-2-3-4-etc (my quickbar keys). If I remap them to the up-down-left-right keys, I can move fine with no issues, and I also have to remap my use/seek cover, walk, reload buttons as well...as they all do the same thing the WSAD keys do.

I've read other places where people have had a similar issue and I've tried remapping, saving the game, reloading and defaulting back with no effect. I have noticed however if I manually select the key binding area for 'forward' and type in 'w' the number four appears. Same for ASD with corresponding numbers 1-2-3, but if I just click 'restore defaults' all the stanard key bindings reappear.

(Note: I haven't used anything not offically released by Bioware or EA, no save game editors or cheats here.)

I'm at a loss...I've done everything short of reinstalling, which I suppose is something that I should've done before posting here. But with all the DLC I've got installed...I wanted to see if you all had a work around ^_^

Minor note: Dragon Age 2 has followed suit. In fact, if memory serves, DA2 started doing this first.

Not sure about Nortons. A few weeks ago someone else had a similar problem where they couldnt move, and when they tried remapping the keys to defaults, pressing WASD showed up in the key bindings as 1234. It turned out that the keylogging feature in CCG was at fault. If your version of Nortons has any form of keylogging, or you are running any other keylogging software, try getting rid of thaht first.
