So true some noses are exclusive to the racial face presets. There is this azn nose for the black guy but its not there for the azn guy..... doesnt make sense but i guess BIOWARE can improve on the charater creation part.

I have spent countless hours on trying to make a Shepard that looks like me. Unfortunately, its pretty damn hard considering the fact that I am a good looking asian guy.

This made me lol.

But I have to admit, I've yet to find a character creator in any video game, especially western video games, that I can make Lee Jun Ki without having to resort to changing the gender to female. No offense to him and all the countless other beautiful men out there.

Jealous much? Good looking people are rare. That is why its hard to make a character that looks like them. Or else why did BIOWARE have to pay Mark Vanderloo to model for shepard? Since ME3 might have kinect, i hope there is a face scanning tool.

It's not going to have a face scanning tool. Just face it (pardon the pun).

I would say that Bioware's character creator is strong, but is severely limited by some profound weaknesses, mostly in how it handles facial structures and the placement/size of features. For any of you who have played an MMO with extensive character creation (like Aion) I think Bioware should take a look at those.

One profound weakness with the ME character creator is that too many of the options, when used, result in features that are profoundly unrealistic, and that often, only a narrow range of sliders ends up looking "good" (case in point for the female Shepards).

Seriously though, I agree. More options for facial features and even the option to get your hair cut or changed if you want in the middle of the story. A bit off topic...but still.

After 3 ME2 and 2 ME1 playthroughs, I finally made a decent looking guy. Took about 200 hours, but I just got it and im happy with it. I know your pain.

I made one without much problem (took like 2 minutes), and I would say it bears 50% resemblance to me. I don't know what your issue is. Maybe you spend too much time looking in the mirror.

Personally I feel discriminated that I can't make a overweight, sweaty, potty-mouthed Shepard with a strong London accent to reflect myself.....
But in all seriousness I actually have the opposite problem.
Nearly all my Shepard's look Asian even when I don't want them to. (Not being racist, just pointing out what I've found.

Oh and did this thread really need to have racist insults? Although I agree the OP is a little full of himself (Not trying to sound mean dude) theres no need for such comments.

The face gen is a bit twitchy.

I was going for hardened veteran soldier look and ended up with the ugly monkey guy from alien resurrection.

Bioware sure took notice of your thread. I would definitely wait until I receive an email from them they come over to you to scan your face. I'm sure you will have their message any moment.
