Hey there,
I hope this will be my last thread for a while. :|
Working on the cutscenes, I experienced another problem. I've tried finding out how that happens, but I couldn't... Its with the cameras. Whenever I try to move a camera from one keyframe to another and involve a bit of rotation, it always rotates the wrong way whenever I play the scene.
For example, when the cameras position at 0,00 is the torso-view of the player reading something and I want to move the camera around him, ending up with a close-up view of his face, the camera moves whenever I play the cutscene, but instead of just rotating in his direction, it always does a 360° rotation and then ends up at the desired location. How can I fix that?
Regards,
Nick:unsure:

Hey,
Okay, so if I got that right I'll have to manually select the Keyframe and enter the desired value (Which I know from manually rotating the camera in the camera-user window)?

Yep, that's basically it.

Hey,
I don't get it.
I got the spinning again and I tried to manually copy every coordinate but it doesn't work or ends up in a weird location. The problem most likely is the -111 in the Orientation tab, right? But if that is the correct angle, what am I supposed to do? Whenever I enter something else, the camera just ends up wrong. If I enter -111 though it keeps on spinning around.

To elaborate on tmp's link, (and I learned this little ditty from him) there is a Q & A in my group, answering this but in case you can't view it, I'll paste it here:
Q. Camera/Actor turning 360’ between keys?
=======
1. Find the key combo causing the problem and place your timeline there
2. Expand the “orientation” + of the problem cam/actor and select it
3. Open the curve editor and use the mouse roller hovering over the curve editor timeline to contract the view. Middle click and drag to move left or right to find your timeline indicator.
4. You will notice a sharp curve in one of the orientation keys (usually Yaw)
---expand the curve editor to get a better view using the mousewheel.
5. Select the end key circle of that curve within the curve editor.
6. In the Object inspector next to value you will either have a positive or a negative number.
7. If the number is greater than 90, either add to your negative value 360 or subtract from your positive value 360
8. Enter your result in the Object Inspector Value field
9. If the number is less than 90 do the same only adding/subtracting 180
10. Your cam/actor should now move as you intended
