Hello everyone, I really, really need some help from a more experienced player or maybe from a bioware itself :D. Two weeks ago I bought Dragon Age Origins Ultimate edition, i have installed it and for two weeks of playing everything was ok. Until now! I ran the game through desktop shortcut, then menu opened and I tapped play. Suddenly my Avast! informed me with big red text that a trojan horse has been blocked from destination D:\\Dragon Age\\bin_ship\\daorigins.exe. I was really surprised honestly, this never happened to me with any game I had. After that avast! informed me an error appeared. "DAorigins.exe - Unable To Locate Component" was the headline and error itself said : "This application has failed to start because NxCharacter.dll was not found. Re-installing the application may fix this problem." I have no problem with reinstalling this game since my saves appear to be ok :D but that trojan horse really worries me. What if it will appear again after reinstalling or something worse. Everything I need is just a little advice from someone who is more experienced than me in this kind of problems. Thanks for all advices.

PS: That link D:\\Dragon Age\\blah blah blah may not be correct because I don't remeber the exact path that AVAST! wrote but it was something with dragon age origins starting file at the end of the link.

After a bit of discussion back and forth in this thread: http://social.biowar...8/index/7533259 , this is also what we concluded. Apparently, the Avast! Antivirus now scans the nxCharacter.dll located under the bin_ship folder as a virus of the type Hiloti-CU, apparently a trojan that is designed to take over an entire computer.

It would be nice to get an official statement whether this is just Avast! that is too suspicious, or whether there are actually is a virus in the Dragon Age Origins Ultimate Edition game. I would like to just pick out the NxCharacter.dll of the Virus Chest of Avast! and play the game, but I'm fearing Avast! is on to something here.
