just wanted to check at what point you secure marrying Alistair as an HNF?

do you need to speak to Anora or Alistair before the LM or is the Warden Queen option decided after the duel with Loghain?

I think you can decide that you'll rule at his side right after beating Loghain.

There's no dialogue about HNF marrying Alistair/ becoming queen prior to the Landsmeet.

The option comes up after you, or your champion, duels Loghain. When Eamon has you decide who should rule, the option for Alistair to be king and you'll rule at his side should be there.

No, you can set up the marrige with Anora beforehand and still declare yourself queen.

Only if you're marrying Anora.

One thing that caught me out once is that if after the duel you try to marry Alistair to Anora but Anora turns him down because he was the one who killed Loghain, you can't then step in and marry Alistair yourself.
