I've been playing ME 2 for as long as it's been out and had purchased most of the DLC.
My computer recently got a major virus infection and the only way to remove it was to completley wipe the hard drive and reinstall windows. I kept my save files from all games and after the clean install put ME2 on the computer by itself. (No ME1)
It has no problems, but it does not recognize the saves from my porevious playthrouhgt. I have them as a file in My Documents/Users/ME2 but no luck so far.
I would appreciate if anyone knows how to resovle this. Also, how do I redeem my DLC; I don't have the Downloaded files but made the purchases with my Biowae account. Is this good enough for me to redeem the codes once again?
Thank you!
Reinstalling ME2 and importing files

To get the game to recognize your saves you can launch ME2, pick the configuration option, go to save games, "Copy mass effect 1 save games", pick the folder you have stored them in and then save the settings.
To download the DLC again, go to http://social.bioware.com/user_entitlements.php and download them again, and then simply install them.
