a good healer build

I'm not sure I've ever seen my companions actually attack the statue before. Usually, if I want my companions to attack a specific ghost, I'll have to manually point them toward the one I want, or they could end up fighting any of the four. As someone mentioned before, this particular battle seems to be a bit buggy. Sometimes Oghren will just stand there and do nothing when he's supposed to follow Alistair around and attack the same enemy as him and I'll have to manually point him at the enemy I want him to fight. Overall, this particular fight isn't too bad, though it may require a bit of micro-managing. Just keep killing those ghosts and eventually the battle will be over with and you can proceed.

Good healer spells? I'd go with heal, group heal, regeneration, force field, and perhaps mind blast.

yeah that's what i do, i've had oghren lock up a few times i was just wondering if there was a work around, but yeah my team attacks the statue all the time.
at the end of the fight jowan managed to get curse of morality on it. and i had to laugh because it was already dead.
but with my new team set up i killed the archdemon so fast i didn't realize we killed him till i got the slow kill cam he went down in about 10 minutes maybe less. normally my final fight lasts 30 minutes to an hour and we are all hiding behind a ballistica the whole time. this time i took him down old school.
but i can't figure something out i couldn't hardly keep the enemies off of me, do normal weapons draw attention more so then a staff. be cause i had spellweaver and a nomal axe on her [because she is an arcane warrior and i just like spellweaver] the rest of her armor was just light armor and a robe.

The more you fight the archdemon, the easier it should be. The first time I defeated it, I was thrilled to have gotten the fight over with. Now, I take my time and kill all of the darkspawn before finishing off the archdemon. If you have some means of boosting your spirit resistance, the battle shouldn't be too tough.

At settings lower than nightmare the heaviest armor draws aggro. For all settings, the other factors are proximity and how much damage the character is causing. I haven't take the ranger spec for a long time but I used to let the pet lead, especially against emissaries, so they would target it with crushing prison.wildrivr wrote...

i'm on normal so cullen should have been drawing argo he had massive templar armor, with threaten on all the time and he taunts as much as possible.
but i did have issues with him targeting enemies at random and he would bolt away when i least expected it. how do i get him to focus on one target at a time?
