The 1.03/1.02 patch sounds like it will fix quite a few bugs - yeppie. Why is it taking Bioware so long to release another DLC for this game? When DAO was released the game came with one DLC and you could buy another if you did not purchase the Special Edition and within a month there was an announcement for the third DLC. All three expanded the warden story. By the fifth month there was a full blown expansion for DAO. Here we are now almost 3 months after DA2 release and the DLCs we have received are two item related DLC and one story driven DLC, which reminds me of Shale from DAO. No news of a new DLC being release or an expansion.

Personally, I would rather have one expansion with all of the goodies in one price instead of making multiple smaller payments.

The game was delayed for several months to match up with the console releases, so I imagine they used a lot of that time to work on the DLC.

The good people at Bioware are taking their time to make a quality DLC. They're also fixing bugs. **** off and let them do their jobs.

Let's hope that's the truth of the matter.
Oh, and everyone is entitled to voice their concerns so no need to be abusive.

A free DLC? Now that is something I would love to see.... If you read a lot of posts in the forums you'll find that a lot of people think this way:"Bioware rushed DA2"Meanwhile most of them also say:"When is a new DLC coming out? Hurry up Bioware!"So as you can see, those people are contradicting themselves. A lot of people on this forums are saying that they didn't like DA2 cause it was rushed but they also want Bioware to release new content quickly, therefore rushing it.

Free?  DLC?  EA?  Bioware?

It's nice to want things, people, but come on.

As for expansions. . .those days seem to be behind us, unfortunately.

I don't expect free DLC but I do think Bioware should give us some free dlc for DA2.

The Item Pack DLC sets the stage though. Charged for and as vacuous and insulting as the game itself. Most bizarre part was there was already better stuff available in the community for free when it was released...

Maybe EAWare are getting in to the SaaS business and basically charge $80 bucks for the shell which gives you the privilege of paying for the actual content when they get around to flogging it.

I am just hoping they sell or lease the franchise to some indie company that will take it and us victims seriously as opposed to a lowest-common denominator billing apparatus.

Not personally expecting much honestly though. Only reason I am not trading in my Signature Edition is to glue to the wall to remind me lest I forget in the next marketing frenzy.

the witcher 2 has already released 2 patchs that actually fixed things complained about. the good people at bioware charge us for ****ty DLC and will probably release an expansion that claims to fix everything making us pay for that.

If they would have given out a free DLC it would have been the item one and not a story expansion one.

Why do you keep comparing DA2 to the Witcher 2? As far as I know they're two completely different games, from two different companies. And Bioware has also released patches that fix things....

DLC that continues the games and characters would be awesome.

I enjoyed the original Darkspawn Chronicles. Murdering the innocent people of Denerim and then slaughtering my various party members with the ultimate culmination of beheading that loser Alistair.

I'd rather Act four than any DLC, standalone or in the main story.

I'd rather they close the book entirely on this chapter of Dragon Age and do the next one better

Fanfiction. I want Dragon Age fanfiction in lieu of expansions or DLC.

I would love would just a small number of decent dlc (more than a few hours worth each) and then a little latter a large 20hour expansion....:) rather than a dozen small single quest 2-3 hours things....fingers crossed :)

A 20 hour expansion would be glorious, considering the main game is about 30-40 hours, That high a percentage is welcome in any game expansion.

I am hoping the dlc will make me want to play the game through again, rather than just pick up at the ending. Mind you, I would like to see my adventures progress further, but unless the dlc is one hell of an offering it will likely seem too short without another playthrough to give it more punch.
