I've already said this discussion is strictly about if you were Shepard. Not from a gaming perspective. So the consequences are very real. And I know there are no right choices. You are free to make selfish evil choices. There are virtuous choices however which is what I'm defending.
Again, I think that you're unnecessarily limiting the argument. I have some Shepards that would choose to save his/her love interest over the lives of millions, and some that would not. But then you add the qualifier "but what if YOU were Shepard," completely ignoring the fact that if I were Shepard, I would be utterly and fundamentally different.
And then when someone replies that he/she would save his/her lover over civilians, you point out "That's why they don't allow romance in the military!" which is quite uncalled for. You then further point out that anyone who would choose "Love" over "Sacrifice" (a literal choice in Fable 2, by thw way) is "evil and selfish." That's also quite uncalled for. You're leaving no room for intelligent debate or an actual exchange.
