Why is the mini-litho of The Team $40? It's the same price as a regular litho that is signed and numbered. But this is unsigned and unnumbered. Doesn't make sense.

While it is true it's 18x24, the original costs double that. 80$. This price is 100% to be expected after the original costed so much.

Keep in mind also, that this particular mini is not an unlimited item.  The store is taking unlimited orders only through Sunday, then they are going to produce that many.  I'm not sure if it's been clarified how many, if any, will be produced after that, but it's not going to be unlimited.   The other minis are essentially unlimited, if the stock runs out, they have printed more of them and brought them back in stock.  I'm guessing that's also part of the hefty price tag for this one.

I agree it should be 25-30$, but I said this was expected, not wanted :P

That's a good point. Treehouse could probably attract even more buyers if it was cheaper, just saying.

No doubt, but pricing is far from an exact science.  Some lithographs they could barely make enough of, and others they can't sell out to save thier life.  Prices have now almost doubled on the standard signed litho from $30 to $50 in only 7 or 8 months.  They apparently can get that for Garrus/Archangel, but whos to say that will be the case for future releases.  All you can do is make an educated guess as to where they think the pricing will hit the best spot for both sales numbers and profit margin.

They'll probably cut the price after a few months.

Except not because they're only selling them to whoever pre-orders them. After this, it is doubtful this litho will make a return, unless it is a small cheapo mini.
