I don't wanna come across as a freak or anything (mission failed with that sentence), but...

is it just me, or is the model for females a little off?  isn't the......"chest".....position way too low?

sigh.  i'm a freak.

Depends on the female? They don't have pushup bras in Ferelden either.

My concern with women in the game is that they all run like they have shat themselves. What is with that?

What's really annoying is that the "chest" changes all the time! With one armor it looks one way, with another armor it looks different, and with no armor... well, it looks deformed. It's just weird.

Why does some 'freak' always come up with this BS for every game released?

Get a life.

This has been addressed in a few other threads. Female characters look disproportional because they use the same animation skeleton as the male characters. This has been a problem in all Bio games since Jade Empire (Where they looked REALLY ridiculous). Until they pony up and find more cash for the animations department we'll just have to live with it. Probably will be fixed for the MMO though, that project seems to be rolling in all kinds of cash. Hopefully their subsequent single player games will benefit from it as well.

I'm sure Allistair's parts shift position depending on his armor's codpiece.  Have you checked?  :)

Meh, I don't think I'm a freak and I agree that the female models looked a little off. I mean, as a woman myself I was like, "huh... that's just not quite right."

Nah, Allistair's codpiece isn't in my face every time I'm in a dialogue with him.  I'm talking about more than just position, though.  The shape changes!  Have you seen a female without armor on?  Compare Morrigan with no armor to Morrigan with her robe to Morrigan with Wynne's robe to Morrigan with leather armor.  Weird.

You are letting the men undermine your self respect, sister!  You look just beautiful!  All these men have ale flab around their middle and they brag about endowment that none of them posess.... (except for the Quanari...)

Not that I really want to get into a disscussion about Bwbs but I will have to admit I thought some of the armors had visible collar bones on the gals that looked a bit out of place/too low. The studded leather was really bad with this IMHO. I suppose this could cause the OP to also think the chest was also out of place.

It is rather odd since neverwinter nights had great animations and a great shape for the female characters. Its quite curvy but nothing overly so. From all Bioware games female characters might be considered the most attractive in this game compared to the limitations at the time.

Personly I think it would be best if all characters had their own underwear version kind of like with KOTOR. Morrigan looked weird in her underwear in a cutscene. Her shoulders seemed too wide.

This. The women don't look quite right, it's not a matter of misogyny or unrealistic expectations forced on us by the media, it's that they are proportionally incorrect for any sort of average woman. A dev has commented on this and it is indeed a result of only having one rig. So unless someone comes in and makes a new rig (assuming this is possible) and makes all new animations, we're stuck with the women the way they are.
