There are so many different ways to play and so many different outcomes. I suggest you avoid any builds that are affected by the Dex bug. Other than that, pick a new Origin story and see where it goes. Pick different companions and get into your character!

Yeah, apparently daggers don't get the dexterity bonus which limits the entire dual weapon tier. This means that dual weapons become less effective the higher your level is and your opponents are. This is a know bug that Bioware has been slow to correct for some reason. Probably working on other priorities I guess

Ive heard about that.
Apparently from what I heard they are most definately working on the Dex bug for the next patch.

I sure hope so. Any bug that cripples a major facet of gameplay is pretty serious.

If you want to be sure you don't miss out on ANYTHING you could always quick save before each conversation/interaction with anyone/thing and go over all of the strings....rough to do it that way though, takes a lot longer but you will be satisfied as to which line of convo you'll take.
Everything else, just explore like a crazy person, wander the map..examine all corridors of dungeons, steal from everyone once you get a rogue/are a rogue(even enemies but not sure how that all works, go for the big guys first?)
And of course, the infamous multiple playthroughs will net you some interesting results, read the thread on Dwarf Noble in these forums though if ya have the blood dragon armor DLC active.
As a side note, for aesthetics, if you make evil choices, stick with em through the end same goes for being a goody-two-shoes...mostly if you have companions you'd lik to impress though there's not much dialogue that I've noticed campaign-wise that affects them.

You guys should download the hotfix for the dex bug, it's done by one of the devs and it works awesome. It makes enemy archers a pain in the ass though, just a heads up. I like the challenge

There is a patch from a Bioware dev but unofficial. I've tried it and it works.

Be sure to buy the belt in Denerim that gives you more xp from getting codex entries. You'll get at least 6k extra xp if you buy it in the begging. Might as well buy belt that increases monetary gain from one of the dwarf merchants in Orzammar
