There's been a long-since answered series of the same question to look up. I never had to do it, but there's a way, with the EA Store's digital copy. Just do a proper search. Don't use the builtin "search" here. It's crap. Use either Google or Yahoo and add the site redirector:
site:social.bioware.com
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/EA_Store
" About 2,210,000 results (0.20 seconds) "
(I don't really believe that at all)

You cannot install the game by simply copying the files. You can, however, register the CD key with EA and get the digital download version of the game using the EA digital download manager. I don't have the link off the top of my head, but EA technical support should be able to help.

The link to EA support is listed in the first post of the thread pinned to the top of this forum titled "Before anything else, what to do about tech problems:Reporting format." There is also a link from the main DA2 site and at the very bottom of every forum page. The link is support.ea.com.
Any EA game purchased after 2009 can be registered in the EA Download manager found here. Simply download and install the manager (the newest version is called "Origin") and register your CD key (Log in using the same email and password you use for this site. In the top right of the window just to the left of your email address after you log in should be a little button that looks like a gear with a down-arrow next to it. Click it, select "Redeem Game Code" and enter your CD key.) DA2 should appear as an available download. If you prefer to use a disc, EA technical support will mail you a replacement disc for a registered game for a small fee.
Before installing either version, save a copy of your DA2 Characters folder to a safe location and delete all other DA2 files.
