Level 60 Achievement Glitch. XBOX360

I can not get the level 60 achievement to pop. I got it on one character and xbox live didn't save it because I was offline. I then tried to get it again on the same character but it wouldn't pop. I then started a whole new character to try and get it and it wouldn't work again. I'm not sure what to do at this point. Any ideas? I wouldn't care but this will be the last achievement I need to get 100% of them.

Figured out a way around it finally. For those who have this problem after me this is what I did.
Copy your game files to a removable storage like your hard drive. ALL game files must be moved, in particular the gamer profile of Mass Effect. Once that is done, transfer the save file of your character at level 59 to the internal MU. Turn off the XBOX. Remove the hard drive so that the only Mass Effect data is the one save file of a level 59 player. Turn the XBOX on and you may have to recover your gamertag. At that point load up mass effect and continue the play through on that drive. Should work that time.
