Is this case a steel book case or something similar to what the Mass Effect CE was like?

yes but is it a tin like the ME1 CE or is there a game case itself that is made of steel (if that makes sense). Reason I'm asking is if it's a steel book then I"d be interested in it where as if it's a tin, not so much.

Its TIN, not steel. It says what it is made of in the product description. Does it really matter? I mean are you planning to use it as a paperweight? It'll sit on your shelf whether tin or steel...

Looks a lot like the ones you posted. I googled Mass Effect's Collector's Edition and it certainly doesn't look like that.

@Ryngard; I am just a huge fan of the steelbook cases and not of the tins (especially the ME1 one where there wasn't an actual game case in the tin itself. Maybe I'm just weird but fact it looks to be a steelbook makes me want it more than if it was just a box like thing.

Steelbooks are awesome indeed, though I only have one so far (Crysis Special Edition).

Steelbooks are better, it's true.



A steelbook alone adds, on average, 35% to the awesomeness factor of a Collector's Edition.



Someone else asked this on the other DA forum and, after seeing screenshots, came to the conclusion that, even if it was tin, it was in the steelbook style, and not just like a pop-top tin or something.

yeah I just wasn't sure cause with the stuff inside (dlc codes and the cloth map) I thought they might have made it a tin to hold everything. If they didn't, then they'd have to have like a cardboard box type thing holding stuff since it wouldn't go in a normal steelbook.
