Just checked my email to see that EA directs broken quest matters to the forums and Bioware sends us to EA.

So is it fair to say that no one wants take responsibility for this horrifically bad problem.

I am going to say this now considering that EA directed me back here.

BIOWARE NEEDS TO GET THEIR **** TOGETHER AND START DOING THEIR DAMN JOBS.

I am getting tired of seeing no one taking responsibility for this problem.

Everyone should just send copies of every form letter response from EA directing them back to Bioware to Chris Priestly and tell him "EA says fix it". http://social.bioware.com/46/

Of course, that's assuming he, or any of the other employees here, even bother to read their PM's/e-mails outside of their contact list or fantasy football buddies.

You also assume that they give a damn about caring if they do read.

So no one really cares on either side of this matter BW sends us to EA and EA sends us to BW.

Sounds like both of them are double fisting while doing nothing.

Guess no one here or at EA gives a damn about a gamebreaking bug being in the game as no one wants to take responsiblity.

So I guess this makes for almost 2 weeks of a problem being out there and no one wanting to do anything about it after all the work was done for them

Lovely how minor annoyances get the attention of Bioware, but gamebreaking problems get ignored.

Time to add another bugged quest.

The final quest, Defending the Collective, that is supposed to become available once all of the other Mage's Collective quests have been completed, will not appear for me with all of the other quests completed.

I have been to the Collective sites at Lake Calenhad, Denerim, and Redcliffe (This being the one the Prima guide says is the start location), and the quest will not appear at any of them with all of the other required quests completed.

If this is not proof enough that there are bugged quests in the game that only work under the most strict of restrictions, then I am a ****ing ****got for even wasting two weeks of my time even bothering to get this fixed.

I thought I'd done all the mages guild quests, but haven't seen that one. Hmm....

I also have Regna ((dwarf girl studying magic) who is standing both in the circle tower and in front of her father's shop. Says the quest is over, this time, but she's both places.

Don't know about this other question you are talking about, killing a father or son? Don't remember the name. What part of the Orzimar quest does it happen in?

Change of Leadership can end in one of the two killing themselves or both still alive

Defending the Collective for the Mages' Collective should have triggered but didnt. Seems odd that it wouldnt show up after I finished up all of their quests.

I had this one too... I thought it was kind of funny.. It was kind of like she was in a delusional denial standing there in front of the shop saying how happy she was to be in the mages circle.

She ended up in the tower while thinking she was still back home, still completing the quest even though the templars were in charge.

So what is so hard about having someone from Bioware acknowledge this like all of the other problems. Already did the job for one quest and I wont be doing it again.

Something is rotten on the state of Edmonton. In farming out devolment of the console versions of Dragon Age: Origins, Bioware has made a huge mistake. There are a legion of bugs plauging the Xbox360 version of the game.Achievements not registering, quest being unplayable, freezing, the dex bug (where adding points to your character does not increase damage for melee weapons) and most egregious of all the vendor bug. If you sell too much of your stuff to any one merchant (like one might do with your in camp vendor) or fill your items chest at wardens keep (created specifically for this purpose) your game corrupts and becomes unplayable. I’ve counted well over 30 people whom this has happned to on the bw social network, and searching the net have found many more. The most disturbing part about this is the lack of support from Bioware when you send them an official e-mail about the incident you get an auto reply saying they will reply within 24 hrs. Several of us are well over 10 times that and not a word. The bottom line is Bioware has allowed EA to ruin them. When an artform becomes run by a corporation everybody suffers. As a game media outlet I implore you to run this story to give voice to those of us BioWare deems voiceless.
My Thanks in Advance,
S.
I have submited this to 1up.com, Ign.com, and Game Informer.com, if anybody wants to back me up here are the links. www.1up.com/do/my1Up games.ign.com/email.html gameinformer.com/p/contactus.aspx

18 days of being ignored and the console patch being this week was a lie.

Bioware needs to explain why the PC gets to have two patches before we get any help at all.

Your thread is not being "ignored".

The developers working on patching the game are not going to reply to each thread individually.

Be sure that you have visited help dragonage.com and used the "Email Us" link to provide a fully detailed report of the problem you are having, details of how to recreate it would help them to resolve the issue.

Repeatedly posting in this thead each day is not going to accomplish anything.

Almost 2 weeks of no acknowledgement from the devs and the fact that I have reported this to EA only to get an email telling me that its not their problem means that this problem is being ignored and frankly, I still have yet to get an answer as to why this game was even allowed out of Q&A with half of the gamebreaking problems that people are complaining about.
