Like a son or daughter, since LI isn't deep enough with one night stands.

How about after ME3 rather than in? I could think of more fitting endings to the trilogy than Shepard playing with a baby.

So s/he has an heir to the legacy if s/he doesn't survive ME3.

Maybe spreading your DNA around the galaxy is your idea of a fantastic thing for Manshep in ME3 but I hardly think Femshep feels like slogging through 9 months of pregnancy while there's Reapers to defeat.

Then it could just be exclusive to dude Shep.

Both sheps don't need to have the choice to have kids.

(Like DAO only male Wardens could have a kid with Morrigan.)

If that's what rocks your boat, like... if that's really, truly, 100%, unequivocally what your definition of a good gameplay addition would be, then sure... here's hoping they throw it in there for you.

I'd much, much rather they worked on about half a million or more other things first, though.

Femshep should be able to fight during initial period of pregnancy. Otherwise, outer-body pregnancy exist in ME?

Excerpt from Genetic Engineering codex-
"SCREENING AND THERAPY: Most governments provide free assessments and corrective therapy for genetic diseases in prospective parents. This has nearly eliminated everything from cystic fibrosis to nearsightedness. The earlier screening and therapy is performed, the more comprehensive the results. Though ideally performed on artificially fertilized zygotes in a lab, procedures are available for embryos in the womb and newborns, out of respect for personal beliefs."

No. If you want Shepard to have a baby, write a stupid little fanfic about it or something. Or go make Shepard in The Sims... And use the mod that lets men have babies.

After ME3, sure. It could be nice (though you can do it only with some LI, Garrus and Tali can't have a child with a human, Thane neither and I think that even if I survive through ME3, in a eventual ending after ME3 should be dead, and Miranda can have only an adopted child).

Sure. Gonna get a lot of people complaining about how their Shepard got 'ninja-pregnancy'd' though.

I will start my family of blue children after I have ensured they will be able to survive being harvested.

As much as I love Garrus I have to admit that if we sired children they would be hideous.

Realism. People get ninja-pregnancy'd all the time in RL. :D

Sorry, couldn't resist.

Liara, Ashley, Jacob, Kaidan and Jack (assuming forcing element zero into you and becoming L2/L5 doesn't interfere with fertility, which I don't think it does.) would be the only ones to biologically do so.

What about the others? Wouldn't be fair to them...adoption is always nice, though! :)

This.

And as SilentNukee points out, not all LIs are biologically compatible for such a feature so it couldn't possibly be fair for everyone.

Mass Effect =/= Sims

Please stop with the marriage/kids threads. They make me cry. And when I cry, people die. Go write a fanfic about it, if you want. But please stop with the threads.

No.

I'm going by the unwritten rule that all kids in video games are annoying as hell.

Too many babies and pregnancies in TV already, don't make me put up with all this stupid baby obsession nonsense in a game too.
