No thanks. I'd much rather have more "prize" quality romance scenes than anything involving Shepard having kids.

I'm sure those who romanced Liara, and again in ME2 while staying loyal, will have a surprise at the end of the game. Like in the first Halo beating it on Legendary, I'm sure the same thing will happen.
Possible Ending:
After saving the world, flash forward 9-10 months, it shows Liara holding a blue kid, and Shep with his arms around her.

There's your ending for all you baby nuts.

I think death made him/her sterile.

That might be going too far.

Pregnant femShep making Biotic Charge? Going into CQC with a krogan? Weehee. Yes, my main char is Vanguard. On the other hand, confirmed ladies also don't seem to enjoy the idea of fighting while pregnant.
However, Shepard appearing from nowhere, grabbing Kaidan and proceeding to... errm... "We must discuss what happened on Horizon! - Shut up, I'm going to have a child in a case I'll die!!!" is even more surreal.

Take a lesson from fallout, children are the bane of any video game universe!

If there are no children in ME3, there won't be any ME4!

really think this should be the case, but I doubt it'll turn out that way.

The fact people actually want this is utterly perplexing to me.

Probably the same people who made a big fuss about the OGB.

Who knew, making babies is the real defintion of true love now.

Aside from the fact that this is a terrible idea that I in no way support, wouldn't it be pretty likely that after dying, Shepard COULDN'T have kids with another human?
And don't even mention Liara having Shepard's baby. I will have none of that.

Well, Liara and her mindseckz is about the only sure way it could happen.

Still, way too many variables for it, and as it's not in demand anyways, Bioware isn't even going to go near this big ugly pothole.

I wouldn't mind some mention of it in an epilogue, but definitely not in the main game.

Yes, in the epilogue it would be nice, but in the game, just no.

Dear Lord, no. Not for FemShep, anyway. Imagine the scenario:

Scenario 1: Team is on a non- O2 nitrogen planet. At some point, one of the squadmates starts talking about food. Shepard a) throws up into her helmet *GAME OVER* or B) is overtaken by the urge to return to the Normandy and eat 3 million cheeseburgers with jam on top. Gets distracted thinking about different jam flavours and is shot in the face by something nasty *GAME OVER*.

Scenario 2: Shepard is about to go planetside, when Mordin/Chakwas informs her that due to the elevated risk of dangerously high blood pressure she must instead return to Earth and sit out the Reaper threat while Kaidan saves humanity. *GAME OVER*

NO.

These threads puzzle me. Shepard, or the chosen LI would be out of action for a period of time during pregnancy. I'm hoping there aren't any big time gaps in the game. And it doesn't make sense for those with LIs who can't reproduce with Shepard, as already mentioned.

I have an IRL kid, there's a reason why I use cheats in the Sims when dealing with offspring. Yuck, no, not in this game, please.

Liara, Ashley, Jacob, Kaidan and Jack (assuming forcing element zero into you and becoming L2/L5 doesn't interfere with fertility, which I don't think it does.) would be the only ones to biologically do so.

What about the others? Wouldn't be fair to them...adoption is always nice, though! :)

with liara its not really "his" baby. theres nothing in the baby from him. he just spun the genetic randomizer wheel.

I would laugh my **** out if i see a epilogue cutscene of shepard and tali looking at a baby in a suit with a oversized quarian helmet.

@TeenZombie - ah, if only Sims style cheats were available in real life. *Turns off baby vomit and nappy-changing*. Sigh, that's better.

I find that idea incredibly stupid.

I'm sorry. I just can't believe that anyone would find that to be a good idea.

EVERYONE, MOST PREGNANCIES TAKES PLACE OUT OF WOMB IN MASS EFFECT

Excerpt from Genetic Engineering codex-

"SCREENING AND THERAPY: Most governments provide free assessments and corrective therapy for genetic diseases in prospective parents. This has nearly eliminated everything from cystic fibrosis to nearsightedness. The earlier screening and therapy is performed, the more comprehensive the results. Though ideally performed on artificially fertilized zygotes in a lab, procedures are available for embryos in the womb and newborns, out of respect for personal beliefs."

Sure. Gonna get a lot of people complaining about how their Shepard got 'ninja-pregnancy'd' though.

LOL!  But of course.  This is the internet and what internet is complete without lots of complaining and whinning?

And yet again BSN amazes me with their ME3 desires/priorities. No offense, but who plays (essentially) a TPS expecting to have children at some point?
