I'm banging my head against a wall looking for a decent model for a simple cave entrance.

What are people using (can you provide the actual model name as well please?)

Thanks.

I struggled to look for one too, but I couldn't really find one. One think I thought up to replace it is to use the overhanging terrain feature to make a kind of hollowed out area in the terrain, then use a dark texture to make it look like it's deep and dark. Once you've done that, just put the area edge at the entrance, since people won't be able to actually walk under the overhang.

Have yet to try it out, but give it a shot.

The elf rogue origin has a nice cave entrance, but as I recall it's composed of a variety of rocks. If anyone else has ideas about how to make a quick, effective cave entrance, I'd love to hear it.

A set of rocks, a black box to obscure the rock wall, and an area transition trigger could do the trick. It might be a little more work than a cave entrance model would be, but at least it means you can make a truly unique-looking cave (and you don't have to use a door: I'm looking at you, Bethesda! <3 ).
