I can't seem to get back in now that quest is completed. Something to do with the place closed off?

Hopefully you finished everything before you left.
Not being able to re-enter the keep after finishing the dlc was one of the main complaints about it when Warden's Keep was first released. Basically, the only reason to return is for the party chest and to acquire starfang.
