it is also said that each reaper is unique because they are composed of different races. I find that very interesting.... Is harbinger composed of collectors? and what bout soverign?

Not enough data. Also, from what I know, each reaper is composed of one race. Not multiple races in one reaper. Just to clarify.

I actualy like this thread, it is hard to say we have seen sovereign in battle but not harbinger, I am guessing sovereign would be the older of the two as I have a feeling harbinger was created a few cycles later and sovereign might be as old as the first cycle. I also think that even though EDI speculated that the protheans were not turned into a reaper that harbinger may actualy be the prothean reaper and after he was made the leftovers were turned into collectors, I think that may explain why he is able to control and possess the collectors so easily.

Except the Rachni are a new species and not around for any previous cycle so Sovereign can't be a Rachni Reaper.

As for power I would guess Harbinger is the more powerfull one as Sovereign was the "Vanguard" who was left to monitor the races of the galaxy and Harbinger can assume control of his agents from great distances. But we won't know for sure until a propper confrontation with Harbinger happens.

The Reapers look like cephalopods.

He doesnt look much like a collector.Are you talking about the eyes or crest?

I know I should know this but I was under the impression Harbinger was a tiny insect like Collector general. Sovereign looks to be a huge *** talking starship. Just how big is Harbinger?

Well according to one of the devs Harbinger is one of the bigger Reaper ships...as for Sovereign...well he was just a scout for the Reapers, and I'm not sure what his size is in comparison to the other Reapers. I think Harbinger is bigger though.

I'm really hoping Harbinger isn't the strongest and leader Reaper though, I like unified villains but for me the Reapers should be MOSTLY equal to each other. They are meant to be "independent nations" sort of.

EDIT: I don't know what sort of species Harbinger is made from, he has the collector looking eye/light thingos though. Maybe he was made from the Protheans....but I don't think so because the Protheans did not have the right genetic material to be turned into Reapers.

Well EDI speculated that the prothean reaper failed but it isn't a confirmed fact yet unless bioware says so.  ,As far as size goes I think both Sovereign and Harbinger are two of the bigger  size of reapers.  I am guessing they are roughly the same size
