And the songs...just...wow.
Alright, words failed me there.
The Elvhen and Tevinter in the songs on the soundtrack are lovely. But I was so desperate for song lyrics that I wrote some for Rogue Heart and Destiny of Love.
I tried to incorporate elements of Isabela's character for Rogue Heart, and Ander's identity and dialogue for Destiny of Love. The English lyrics have nothing to do with the Elvhen or Tevinter; I didn't even try to translate. And the cadence isn't intended to match exactly to the lyrics as sung on the soundtrack, but to be close to that and feel natural. Generally, the accented syllabi match to the strong beats for Rogue Heart. Destiny of Love is a bit easier to hear.
