I really want to save the krogan in Mass Effect 3; however I have a little problem. I am going through the journal on my main save file and I can't remember if I chose to keep the genophage cure data that was a part of Mordin's loyalty mission.
The summary on my journal says:
"..... Convinced of the danger such a cure could pose to the galaxy, Mordin shut down his former protege's experiments and made sure the research data would not fall into the wrong hands."
It sounds like the data is still there but I just want to make sure.

Um, I'm not too sure how to help you there. I've never not kept the data so I don't really know what it would say if you didn't.
I think your best course of action, assuming you haven't seen an abundance of these already, is to watch both types of encounters on youtube and decide what seems familiar and what doesn't.
