That sequence where Shep is on the hover platform shooting the Cannon at the reaper, hope there's not too many of those types of battles - graphically it looks nice, but gameplay it would be a bit boring; just aiming and firing while you move along a set path.

I see they've finally smoothed the transitions between cutscenes and gameplay. Nice.
I liked the demo, though I do wonder... what was the point of shooting a machinegun at that reaper? It blatantly wasn't having any effect.
What would you rather do, shoot at it in the hope of damaging it, or even knocking it slightly off balance to delay it's targeting, or get a paintbrush and use the time to paint concentric circles on your head instead?
The number of knee-jerk lemons on this forum is astounding.
What I would rather do is get inside and keep driving fast. Shepard isn't helping the galaxy by making himself a completely unshielded target for a reaper that he currently has insufficient firepower to damage. You may think he looked heroic shooting at it like that, but I thought he looked foolish.
Other than that, the preview rocked.

The Old Republic will be horrible. They should have made Battlefront 3.
On that note did anyone catch that guy when he was listing off BW games Baldur's Gate, Neverwinter Knights, and then when he got to Dragon Age one guy cheered and he goes "Oh! You liked it?" Ha joke on themselves for DA2, I love Bioware.
Side note: SSX looks sick

Is there somewhere to watch this since I missed 3 hours of it?
Edit: I forgot to mention you can also click the link in the OP and rewind to any point of the broadcast.

What if Legion & Mordin are dead? How will the missions change?
Remember what happened in ME2 when Wrex was dead? Same thing as that probably i.e. you will get some other random Geth/Salarian in their place.

Sure, the Kinect CONFIRMATION (we already knew) was nice to see, and the opinion of the fan community will be in an uproar (for both sides) for a bit, but I cannot consider this "new" or "revealed", just confirmed.
As for the live demo at the EA conference was cool, but, really, it was nothing new. We saw Legion, Liara, Garrus and Ashley, and some cool trailers, but I guess I'm disappointed in that I feel we did not get to see anything "NEW", such as powers or non-too spoilery plot elements or customization options, or new characters or returning characters, etc.
What was there is AMAZING. I'm not trying to complain about what we got, as it was amazing. I was just hoping for new, more varied information.
Still, E3 is not over, and I understand that the conferences may not have been the best place for all of the things i described above, but I hope to see more of the things that, to me, define Mass Effect in the coming moments and days.

Or we might miss the entire mobile gun section and have it be replaced by something else.
Also, I hate how E3 is now showing ****ty sports games.

All the fancy cinematice trailers for the Old Republic make it look good but everyone who actually thinks about it knows the gameplay will suck just like Dragon Age.

Ok, did anyone catch the fact that Shepard didn't know there was going to be a reaper there? He thought it was just a reaper base he was looking to destroy. People need to watch this video again before making uninformed comments. Shepard, on his way to the vehicle after seeing the reaper, said to Garrus and Liara "We've got the whole Turian fleet waiting in orbit." Then he called the fleet and said, "Shepard to fleet, it's not a reaper base. It's a live reaper. I need an orbital strike" Also, the reaper didn't fall over because of that turret gun. Shepard was distracting it while waitng for that orbital strike.

Small Reapers then... as long as fighting against them goes like they require firepower of Normandy I think it's goind to be good.
/edit: Missed the fleet part, thanks for poster above for pointing that out.
