For the time being, I'm just going to bow.

Well done, BioWare. Looking forward to the action.

Damn. I do not want to wait until March for this... But if it takes that long for the game to be the best game ever, then take as long as you want, Bioware. Just not too long. ;)

On a side note, the trailer looked amazing. That Omni-blade knife looked legit. Cryo ammo is back. That turrret thing that Shep is shooting at the Reaper looks awesome. Damn, I REALLY do NOT want to wait until March for this...

Your doing that on purpose now aren't you... :P

"...taking it to the Reapers in person!"

In the trailer at about 49 second mark you can see Shepard in the Cerberus Fatigues with Anderson in toe, with Shepard packing a whole bunch of weapons, seemed a bit silly seeing as the weapons usually hook up to specific parts of the armor that hold them. Other than that trailer ROCKS!

Oh and was that Legion piloting in the Geth Ship? Looked like him

I'm also intrigued if that is Shepard in the Alliance badged Armor with the Widow Sniper Rifle or a potential new squadmate? (Vega perhaps?)

Fantastic trailer; the level of scale has definitely been ratcheted up. Indeed, the wait for 2012 just got a lot tougher.

That trailer was smexy!

I might have an idea of how the omni tool blade works. *puts on comic book nerd hat*

If your familier with the "danger room" from X-men then you know it can make realistic holograms that the xmen can train with. *takes comic nerd hat off*

With the omni tool being a hologram wouldn't it be possible for said hologram (like the danger room) to be using a similar (hard light I think its called?) tech for going all stabby on Cerberus troops with the omni tool?

*puts on Mass Effect Nerd Hat* I've actually proposed an idea before about a "reverse sheild" sort of thing. In the Codex, it says sheilds are configured to let in low-impact blows (punches, kicks, stabs) so that it wouldnt be impractical to the user (so their buddy wouldnt get thrown across the room after trying to give him a high five). Sheilds repel really fast, small things. reverse sheilds are configured to repel larger, slower things. If you find a way to "hone" the sheild to a fine wedge point, voila! you have an omni-tool knife!

Well, I have to say that this looks pretty sweet all around. I'm mixed on the Kinect bit though. Mostly cause I don't have one and don't want to have to buy it. I could do without being able to speak responses and such, but not having to bring up the power wheel to have allies use biotics looks not only sweet, but a genuinely useful thing to have in combat.

That was seriously cool! What a start to the E3 fun and games. 3rd of March release date - damn that feels a long way off right now.

Just saw that. The sniper had no boobs so...I presume it's not Ashley. Guess it could be Ashley/Kaidan though and they're using the Kaidan model. I think Vega's a good guess though.

I noticed a Shepard in Cerberus uniform fighting/escaping with Anderson. So it looks like Shepard didn't even get a chance to change uniform for the trial.

*Takes a step out of your way*

Just looked at the codex... I like your explaination better, considering it would be an in game explaination and not just a comparison.

If more people would read the codex I wounder how many people would be calling it a light saber? Oh well the tech blade is awesome.

Sniper guy is James Vega.

Anderson was seen in other uniform.
Also Legion can be seen at 0:50.

My only qualm is that the E3 demo had Mordin sounding really funky and the whole scene seemed kind of in development... Hopefully that's just because it's early in development. The gameplay certainly looks spectacular, but I really want to see the dialogue and story focuses on some more.

Turret scenes make me a sad Mesmer. Ah, well. Maybe ME3 will do them right.

Now that my one complaint is out of the way, the game looks awesome. The single thing that excites me the most is the improved melee combat. The elbow of death had its time in the sun, but now I'm ready for omnitool knives and biotic backhands.
