So has anything been said about FF Versus XIII? I see FFXIII-2 got a December release for Japan but no Versus was mentioned. Seriously Square what are you doing to this game that takes so long.

I've been wondering the same thing.  I'm still shocked that XIII-2 is coming out so soon over Versus.

If they're building the game off XIII and only making small changes it might be possible. I would much rather play Versus than XIII-2. It's been said before but Versus is turning into Square's Duke Nukem. I just can't understand why it would take so long given how advanced the demo at Tokyo looked.

My favourite games so far:
1.Skyrim
2.Far Cry 3
3.Assassins Creed Revelations
4.Bioshock Infinite

And that is about it....I was blown away by Far Cry 3.Probably a Day 1 purchase.

I don't see what was so special or unique about Far Cry 3.

I was quite impressed with the FarCry 3 gameplay. I haven't finished the first FarCry yet, but that game defines what a FPS should do: excellent level design, varied weaponry that actually behaves differently, and some crafty AI. It's easily one of my best buys from GoG.

Too bad Ubisoft is going to put some lame DRM on the game for sure.

The emergent combat in FC2 was the best I've played in a FPS and it was set in a great open world sandbox. It had issues around respawning enemies (althought this could be nullified if you didn't backtrack) and the lack of branching stories for the different factions. FC1 had great combat as well but was not a sandbox (although the corridors were extremely wide) and the story was better than in FC2. If they take the best of both games, as it appears they might be doing, the game should be one of the greats.

I couldn't stand how FC2 had two different maps that completely made you start from square one. Quasi-open worlds don't do it for me, it was one of the big things I disliked about The Witcher 2.

I'm not expecting great story from FC3. If it's there, that's icing on the cake. I do want the ability to assault each enemy stronghold in our own way, with different tactics, like we can do in FC1. I was always critical of the tactical value in FPS games till I played FC1. That game has b*tch slapped me all over the place when I don't use my head.

Its the same in FC2 so I imagine FC3 will be similar.
